To delete the custom brushes and restore the default brush settings, click Help > Restore Settings > Restore Brush Settings. Double-clicking on one of the brushes in the list will bring up the Edit Brush window where you can also adjust the thickness of the brush. If you paint on top of another color with this brush, both colors will blend, so this brush comes in handy when mixing colors.Īnother way to adjust the thickness of the stroke is to directly change the value that appears in the box next to the top bar. The effect achieved with the Watercolor brush is very similar to that of watercolor in real life. Conversely, the less you press, the less opaque the stroke will be. ![]() If you use a pressure-sensitive digitizing tablet, the more you press, the thicker and darker the stroke will be. With this brush you can draw thin strokes that gradually fade out. In MediBang Paint Pro, the Brush tool comes with 8 default brushes: Pen, Pencil, two types of Airbrush, Watercolor, Blur, Finger and Eraser (Eraser, G Pen, Round Pen). To decrease the degree of blur, simply move the knob to the left. When the knob is on the far right, the degree of blur is at 100%. The degree of blur can be adjusted by moving the “Blur Intensity” (“Blur Intensity”) knob in the “edit brush” window. In the image above, the hair that is in area ① is the one that is farthest away from the character, so I have applied a higher degree of blur to it, while the hair in areas ② and ③ have had a lower degree of blur applied to them. So, I recommend that before merging the layers, you first duplicate the entire file, so that you have a backup version of the illustration. If you save the file with all the layers merged, later, in case you want to make corrections or modifications, you will not be able to return the layers to the original state. This is so that the character, which is the main image, is highlighted. Specifically, in the right image, I have employed a blurred effect on both the hair behind the character, as well as the hand in front of the character. Recent versions of Paint allow the user to choose up to three colors at a time: the primary color (left mouse click), secondary color (right mouse click) and third color (control key + any mouse click). When you move the mouse pointer over all the shades, holding down the left mouse button, the red, green and blue values change to define the color you are highlighting and at the same time, where it says “Color / Solid”, you see the resulting color. The selected fill and outline colors are indicated in the color swatches in the status bar. Fill and outline colors can be chosen from the default palette, which contains 99 colors from the CMYK color model. I recommend you to look deeper into what the heck is dpi so you will know much better what it is and what it is for.Ī color palette is a set of color swatches. In this case I recommend you to change it to 600 dpi (I think that’s the other option it gives you about the quality it will have -w-). The dpi quickly explained serves that, in case you print some drawing, you can choose what quality it will have. ![]() this obviously serves for the measurements of the canvas. This part of the “tutorial” I will explain it as easy and simple as I can: we have as always the width and height that we all know (I recommend you to leave it in px/pixels because the other options I don’t understand even half a rabano xd). The one in the middle is used to access directly to the most recent drawing that we have done or that is pending to finish and finally we have the one on the right which gives us access to our gallery of drawings. Unfortunately Tumblr said: “what if I delete drafts and start to fail?” and deleted the draft of the tutorial I had, so I have to do it all over again TwT, only this time not so elaborate:Īs soon as we enter the application it will show us its start, as it is basic tutorial I will explain those three blue cubes at the top (xd) the first one on the left is used to create a new canvas, which we will see later.
